SHARKS!!!!! watch out

Just wanted to share some photo's of my daughters feeding the sharks on our latest holiday

We had a week on a farmstay and next door to us, was the Shark and Ray feeding centre. My girls just had to have a go at that. Unfortunately, (hmmmm) I missed out my son was having a vomiting anxiety attack from being away from home so I stayed at the farm with him and my parents took the girls. My eldest girl (12)and my son (7)  both autism and my middle girl (11)has anxiety. My 11 year old discribed this as a once in a lifetime experience. Yes indeedy!!!

I am so bad at this!!!

What is wrong with me??? Several times I have tried to add a post and got half way through and it has frozen....... the rest of the time I'm just to slack to try!!!!! I said I was going to be bad at this.........

Sorry for the really bad photo, I will get better I promise ( I hope) this is pattern McCalls 6359. Bought through BMV, still cheaper to buy my patterns through them and pay for shipping then to go to spotlight if I wait for one of there $3.99 sale, buy a few at a time and pay for shipping.
This is my 11 year old modeling, yes I breed them big around here. Wait till you see my eldest she is 12 but I don't know when you will??/ lol. I'm lucky at the moment daughter No 2 likes me to copy what she like's at the moment!!! I wonder how long that will last. I have made her several of these during winter
Fair isle beret's! but instead of knitttind in fair isle I have been using fair isle wool instead, not as good but darn for a non-knitter the result is great. I just use the basics from the pattern. Photo's of end result to follow I promise!!

Oh well, Good Night and Sweet Sew Dreams. Time for bed. Night Night.

First time Blogger

Well I have finally succumbed and started my own blog. I have been reading so many of your sewing blogs for several months now and fine them totally and utterly inspirational. This blog is mainly to document my sewing but sometimes other crafts creep into and of course my other passion, my family will probably appear here too.  As it is, I do not have enough to time now to spend on my passion of sewing with being a  single mum with three children, two of which are on the autistic spectrum. So writing a blog probably is not the most sensible thing I could be doing with my time but I have felt the calling and I'll see how I go. Please join me if you dare and I hope you enjoy, even just a little.
